"Intermezzo Prelude to Act III" from Georges Bizet's "Carmen Suite 1" is a charming slow paced piece of music that contains a Spanish feel. This arrangement for brass choir and brass quintet is perfect for the composition and certainly adheres to the tonal qualities that Bizet was looking for when composing this tune. The trumpets and trombones utilize a cup mute to add to the texture and color of this delightful work.
Technical Notes: This arrangement includes parts for both brass quintet and brass choir. The quintet and choir parts are compatible, so if you have enough musicians, you can use both sets. For even more flexibility, you can mix and match parts from the quintet and choir sheet music.
